In light of the recent attacks at Gawker and Sony that exposed the login information for millions of users, the importance of implementing secure password routines is now back in the top of mind for security experts. While many of these experts will recommend very strict policies and randomly generated passwords, these may not always be practical for every staff member at your organization. Recently at NPower, we have been noticing an increase in the number of calls to our Support Line over the last few weeks related to virus and malware infection. This week, I worked with our network support consultants to prepare this blog post in order to help our nonprofit clients better protect their network from infection and help them recover more easily when they occur.
